Their heart is to see people encounter God, be transformed by His presence and empowered to make a difference in their world.

Originally from Adelaide, the Planetshakers band is now based in Melbourne at Planetshakers Church, under the leadership of Senior Pastors Russell and Sam Evans. With over 30 internationally acclaimed albums, the band tours annually to the USA, UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

Their mission in life is simple: To make Jesus famous!

David Perkins

David and Renata Perkins dreamed of planting a church with these goals—to help people know Jesus, walk closely with Jesus everyday, discover their calling, and shine the light of Jesus to the world. With a growing burden that they just could not shake, they loaded up their four young children and drove to multiple cities in the Midwest asking God to lead them to the right city. While they prayed in Kansas City, they sensed God’s call and they began to make plans to start a life-giving church in Kansas City.

After sixteen wonderful years of pastoring young people in Colorado Springs, the Perkins moved to Kansas City to pioneer a brand new church. To their wonderful surprise, a world class team of talented young adults and trustworthy families moved to Kansas City with them. The Perkins began weekly prayer meetings in their home and officially began Radiant Church on September 18, 2016. Hundreds gathered that day at Overland Trail Middle School in Overland Park, Kansas and Radiant Church became a reality.

The Vow

Each year at our annual Elevate Conference, we give students the opportunity to sign The Vow! This commitment to the Lord consist of four values: Passion, Prayer, Purity, and Purpose! Through these essential values, we challenge young people to live passionately for God and grow in their relationship with Jesus. Join us this summer at #ElevateConf18 to learn more and sign The Vow!

It was passion that fueled Jesus’ mission to endure the cross. It is passion that will strengthen my heart to follow Him. One way to grow my hunger for God is daily spending time with Him. I vow to personally read God’s word and worship Him every day.

The secret to Jesus’ victorious life and ministry was His consistent conversation with the Father. His prayers changed things. My prayers can alter the course of history, and God hears every single one. I vow to start or join a weekly prayer meeting and cry out to God on behalf of others.

Jesus promised that the pure in heart will see God. I want to experience God by walking in purity. One expression of purity is living a countercultural life. In light of this, I vow to fast one day each week as an expression of my wholehearted love for Jesus more than the things of the world.

Jesus was clear on His mission to spread the Gospel and has called us to do the same. Each person who makes a decision to follow Jesus results in heaven rejoicing. In light of this, I realize my purpose is to not only know God, but to make Him known. I vow to share my faith and intentionally lead at least one person to Jesus this year.
